What’s new in roof tear offs? After many years of development, we have come up with THE NAIL GATOR. It can tear roofs off faster. It can be used like a shovel and go normal speed or it can be used aggressively driving forward going deep into the shingles and nails thus speeding up the job.

We did lots of roof tear offs in the past using forks, pry bars, shovels, etc. The forks were faster, but left nails and parts of shingles behind. The shovels were better, but slower, usually only getting one or two nails at a time. Some roofers would try to speed up by slamming the shovel into the nails but would get a sudden stop or a recoil causing hand blisters and sore shoulders. The Nail Gator does not recoil. It transfers energy into a lifting motion on the nails and shingles.
